Podastery Studios Becomes AYOR Entertainment

For the past ten years, PODASTERY, LLC, has been a new media innovator in the Southeast, establishing Mississippi's first podcast company and championing the power of the medium. 

Over the years Podastery has propelled organizations and individuals to new heights of success through platform development, empathy-driven audience development, and a fierce devotion to seeking truth through narrative. Founder and Executive Producer BEAU YORK has been a widely sought after thought leader in the industry and has spoken on the “Power of Podcasting'' at Podcast Movement, TEDx, New Media Europe, and NOEW just to name a few. 

“I started Podastery with a goal of finding people with stories to tell, and giving them a platform to do so,” York said. “It’s been such an amazing journey to see that mission statement become a reality several times over, and I’m grateful that the company has been able to play a key role in the stories of so many.”  

Today, Podastery Studios is moving beyond the podcast industry and announcing its new name and vision as AYOR ENTERTAINMENT. Standing for “At Your Own Risk”, AYOR (pronounced “Ay-Or”) will focus all its efforts into creating and delivering new stories through a variety of art forms.

“For many, hearing someone's lived experience can be a life-altering encounter. But for others, there is much truth to be uncovered in the works of fiction,” says York. “As we look to the future, AYOR Entertainment is working towards a bold new category of content with stories to ignite curiosity and encourage exploration as we craft a new mythology for a new age.”

AYOR is currently at work on its inaugural offering, a large-scale immersive theatrical experience in Houston, TX.
